Awesome night of live music. We just had fun on the stage. It was great working with FUSE and other artists. This was our 30th major concert. The MC's were great. They really new how to put an emphesis on the cause. We just want to thank all of our sponsors for making this event a reallity.

November 25th 2007 Christmas Charity Concert

Last few months brought a lot of changes to the band. Leigh and Denni joined the band, Leigh as a lead gutarist and Denni as a backing singer. Leigh has already got a nickname Sausage Fingers, yeah they are chunky but they move over the fretboard like a machine. Leigh has been playing in various bands full time over the last 15 years. Wayne and Matt also joined the band. Wayne on keys, which he has been doing in Spectrum over the last 20 odd years and Matt on bass. We also got a new drummer, Aron, call him AZZA.

Over the last few months we've been focusing on recording, (got two songs down) worhsip and have done a Woraloo Prison Concert. Next stop, Botswana, Africa.

Wow the last two weeks have been intense, uplifting and empowering. Flying from Australia to Africa to Francistown was a trip in its self as we had a few problems with transfers, flat tires, borders and sickness. But as a group we pulled through and arrived safely a whole 2 days later.

The saying ‘This is Africa’ means a whole lot more to us now as things do not always go as planned here. The container we so carefully packed back in Australia did not ar arrived until a week later and we had to build the ‘African Way’ for many things. Scaffolding was a metal drums and planks of wood, the bricks we were using to build were only freshly made and still wet but with Gods help we managed to not have any serious injuries while working under very extraordinary situations.

As the building went up so did our thanks to God as the people here touched our lives. People from the church have opened their hearts and homes and have made us feel not like visitors but as fellow countrymen. The children especially have pulled our heart strings. We have visited villages, hospitals, churches and orphanages giving toys and singing to the children. They have blessed us with a few songs as well. We all look forward to coming home and sharing our experiences and adventures with you all. Read more at http//:www.empowered.org.au
